Tony Winner Lea Salonga Wows a Town Hall Crowd With The Journey Continues
Lea Salonga was only 18 years old when she won the Olivier Award for originating the role of Kim in Miss Saigon in London, and only 20 when she won a Tony for bringing the role to Broadway. On May 4, Salonga shared the talent and charm that made her an instant star with an enthusiastic crowd at The Town Hall in Manhattan. The stage favorite counts Les Miserables and Flower Drum Song among her Broadway credits, and the voices of not one but two Disney princesses (Jasmine and Mulan) are also on her resume.

On the menu: Potted Potter comes to Manila
Playing to sold out houses all over the world, the Olivier Award nominated Potted Potter: The Unauthorized Harry Experience – A Parody by Dan and Jeff takes on the ultimate challenge of condensing all seven Harry Potter books (and a real life game of Quidditch) into seventy hilarious minutes. Even if you don’t know the difference between a horcrux and a Hufflepuff, Potted Potter will make you roar with laughter.
Written and performed by two-time Olivier Award-nominated actors Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner, Potted Potter is perfect for ages six to Dumbledore (who is very old indeed).
“It’s the single funniest thing i have seen in ages. You’re gonna love this show!” - Toronto Star
“A fabulously funny parody! Will tickle the funny bone of every age group.” - Daily Telegraph (UK)
“Blissfully funny, a winner in every way! A little bit of magic…this show is a crowd-pleaser.” - The Guardian (UK)“Utterly delightful!” - Sunday Express (UK)”
The Stage Door Canteen is really stoked to see this show as it comes to Manila on August 28 for a limited week-long run only at the RCBC Plaza, Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, Makati City. For ticket inquiries, call TicketWorld Manila at 8919999.
